STOCK RED WINE
Artificial aging: 3 years, refinement in barrels, last semester.
Kind of grapes used:
NegroAmaro 80% Malvasia Nera from Lecce 20%
Characteristics:
-Colour: Ruby red with light tones of orange.
-Smell: Intense fragrance.
-Taste: Pleasant, well- balanced structure, tannic, gives a pleasant sensation on the tongue.
Average age of the vines: 35 years about.
Technique used for the cultivation of the vineyard: Alberello Pugliese.
Harvesting: picked up by hand.
Number of stumps per hectare: 4.500 ab.
Production per hectare: Kg 9.000 ab.
Microclimate: Typical Mediterranean, i.e. warm and dry.
Exposure of the vineyards: Southern direction, in a temperate area influenced by the surrounding sea.
Alcoholic graduation: 13,5 % vol
