Extra-virgin Olive oil, Olive oil and Organic olive oil importers, distributors and wholesalers
In its quest to continually improve the services offered to its subscribers, thus expanding their already significant number, Agrelma is about to get a project going which goal it is to add security to commercial transactions concluded through its e-marketplace www.agrelma.com .
This project is targeted at producers as well as buyers, particularly olive oil importers, who often operate internationally, and consists in an online-bank interconnected with banking groups, possibly with worldwide coverage.
When a contract has been signed, the payment or guarantee of payment, will be deposited in an account opened with this banking group directly by the buyer or by his bank.
Only when the goods have been delivered as stipulated, the consignee authorizes the payment to the sender.
This course of action will help to make trade relations more secure for both contracting parties, as – in case of difficulties between the parties - the payment made to the account will not return to the buyer but will remain frozen, until both parties come to an agreement or a referee from a possibly worldwide network checks the correspondence between content of the contract and delivery made and presents a solution.
Should the parties continue to differ after these first attempts to solve possible disputes with an agreement between them or the acceptance of the referee’s opinion, the dispute can be referred to arbitration to the existing elements of the Chambers of Commerce.
All this in order to avoid normal legal actions which can take years.
This added security of the transactions concluded through www.agrelma.com will be an incentive for international exchange, for producers as well as for importers of foodstuff and wine and all other products which are mostly traded internationally.
