Quality Italian Wines is being more and more appreciated.
The main customers of quality Italian Wines are still Germany, followed by USA and Great Britain.

The novelty for the Sparkling Wines in 2006 came from the Far East namely Japan and from a near Mediterranean country in Europe, the Spain. These data show that though the importations of red and white wines were stable on the main markets, represented by Germany, USA, and Great Britain, at a worldwide level the exportations of rose' wines has increased of 11 per cent Italy's bright reputation in the field of wine is due not only to the fact that it produces and exports more than any other country but that it offers the greatest variety of types, ranging through nearly every colour, flavour and style imaginable.

Italian producers have moved rapidly to the forefront of world enology, improving the techniques to create high class wines in every region. Their wines derive not only from native vines, which represent an enormous assortment, but also from a complete range of international varieties.

In the past it was sometimes said that Italians kept their best wines for themselves while supplying foreign markets with tasty but anonymous vine in economy sized bottles. But in recent times, markets have changed radically as consumers in many lands and Italy too have insisted on better quality. Experts say that the Italian Wines are the best among the world's finest wines. Many of the noblest wines originate in more than 300 zones officially classified as DOC , DOCG, and more recently, in areas recognized now for typical wines under the acronym IGT.

Typical regional wines are always more renowned for their characteristic taste. These are confirmed by the data regarding the Italian producers of the 348 DOCs and DOCG wines. Some of these producers’ important offers are inserted in Agrelma. Working with Agrelma we will avoid that wine drinkers from abroad won’t know the wealth of the variety of wines.
